Since the early 2000s, the territory of the former machine yard of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan in the village of Tamchy has been illegally transferred into private hands. This was reported by the press service of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) of the Kyrgyz Republic.

From 2000 to 2004, this plot was sold by the Republican Center for Land and Agrarian Reform under the Ministry of Agriculture without conducting the necessary competitions, which violates the norms of the Regulation "On the Features of Denationalization and Privatization of State Farms and Other State (Municipal) Agricultural Enterprises of the Kyrgyz Republic."
