According to information from the press service of the regional police, the criminal investigation department of the Issyk-Kul regional department of internal affairs has launched a large-scale information campaign aimed at preventing internet fraud in the region.
As part of this campaign, meetings will be held with the population in educational institutions, public places, and other establishments. Law enforcement officers will provide residents with recommendations on how to protect themselves from online scammers, as well as distribute special brochures and handouts with useful information.
The Issyk-Kul regional department of internal affairs emphasizes that protecting citizens and preventing fraud are their top priorities. It is expected that this campaign will significantly increase the level of cybersecurity among the residents of the region.
