A man suspected of fraud has been detained in Bishkek, as reported by the press service of the Sverdlovsk District Police Department.
According to the police, on October 17, 2024, a citizen identified as K.U. approached them. He stated that in 2019, on Frunze Street, a man named “I.” promised to provide him with a bank check. However, after receiving 60 thousand dollars, he disappeared without fulfilling his obligations.
In connection with this, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As a result of operational actions, law enforcement agencies detained I.I., born in 1960. He has been placed in a temporary detention facility.
