The city hall revealed the reasons for the heating problems
Residents of the southern districts of Bishkek report issues with heating and hot water in their homes.
According to the city hall, the cause of this is emergency work — a pipe burst occurred on 7 April Street between Mederov and Akhunbaev Streets.
In this area, there was a disruption in heating supply due to the wear of heating networks, which have been in operation since 1974 and 1986, significantly exceeding the allowable service life and becoming one of the causes of the accident.
During the repair work, there may be limitations on heat supply to the southern part of the city. Additional information on the completion dates of the work will be provided later,” the city hall noted.
