According to preliminary data, the incident happened on February 12 around 12:00 at the Boroonduu pasture, located near the village of Kyzyl-Oy (Suusamyr rural district). The avalanche covered shepherd D. A., born in 1967, along with his 50 sheep and one horse. The report of the incident was received by the local emergency department from the village head.
