According to the police, a 22-year-old local resident, A. B., filed a complaint stating that unknown individuals were demanding money from him, threatening to distribute a video recording.
In connection with these events, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 208 "Extortion" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The operational actions were part of a preventive operation called "Bandit."
The arrested individuals are 21-year-old S. M., a resident of Osh, and 23-year-old Ch. uulu B., a resident of the Kara-Suu district. Both men have been placed in a temporary detention facility in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Currently, an investigation is ongoing to determine the involvement of the detainees in other similar crimes.
