A resident of the capital contacted the duty unit. He reported that in a house on Matyiev Street, his niece and other girls were using drugs provided by an acquaintance. His niece informed him about her problems, and he called the police to check the situation.
During the inspection, it was found that various types of drugs were indeed being used in the specified house, which was confirmed by a medical examination. Facts of coercion to drug use were also recorded.
The case has been registered under Article 287 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, which pertains to coercion to drug use, as well as public calls and advertising of narcotic substances.
The detained individual turned out to be 31-year-old K.Z., who was placed in a temporary detention facility. The investigation is currently ongoing.
