In Bishkek, law enforcement officers detained a man suspected of involving women in the use of narcotic substances.
According to information provided by the Internal Affairs Department of the Lenin District, a signal about the ongoing situation was received via the "102" service. The applicant reported that an unknown young man was offering drugs to girls in one of the houses on Matyiev Street, and his niece had also become involved in this situation.
Upon the arrival of the police, the information was confirmed. Three individuals were taken to the station: two girls and a young man.
As a result of the inspection, it was established that various types of drugs were being used at the specified location, which was confirmed by a medical examination.
A criminal case has been initiated in this matter under Article 287 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, which pertains to enticing individuals to use narcotic substances, psychotropic substances, and their analogs, as well as drug advertising.
The suspect, born in 1992 and named K.Zh., was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility. The investigation is ongoing.
Law enforcement agencies remind that enticing individuals to use drugs entails criminal liability.
