According to information from the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate, the incident took place in October 2024, when nephrologist N.B. provided medical assistance to the minor K.A., born in 2011. During the treatment, mistakes were made, which led to serious consequences — the amputation of the girl's right leg.
A criminal case was initiated under part 2 of Article 146 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the improper performance of professional duties by a medical or pharmaceutical worker, resulting in serious harm through negligence.
Based on the conclusions of forensic medical examinations, charges were brought against the suspect. In accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, she was detained and placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek.
The investigation of this case is ongoing.
