The central office of the FES accounted for about 66% of all appointments, while regional divisions, especially the Southern Department, showed significant growth in workload.
During the reporting period, 6,285 examinations were conducted, of which over 88% were classified as complex and moderately complex studies. Interestingly, the number of primary examinations has significantly increased, while repeated, additional, and commission examinations have decreased, indicating an improvement in the quality of expert research.
The largest number of examinations were carried out in the fields of forensic automotive, forensic science, linguistic, and religious studies, as well as in forensic ballistics, trace evidence, and explosive engineering.
The main initiators of conducting examinations continue to be the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which is responsible for almost 80% of all appointments. Judicial bodies, the prosecutor's office, the State National Security Committee, and other state institutions also actively interact with the FES.
By region, the highest number of examinations was appointed in Bishkek, as well as in Chui and Osh regions.
The service also continued to provide paid expert services, with total revenue amounting to 14,008,763 soms, which is almost double the results of 2024.
The increase in the number and complexity of examinations, as well as the expansion of the range of services, indicates a growing workload on the Forensic Expert Service and the ongoing process of improving its operations.
