Employees of the tax service in the Issyk-Ata district, specifically in the village of Birik, thwarted an attempt to illegally transport tobacco products. The press service of the agency reported this incident.
During the raid, a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vehicle was discovered, which was transferring cigarettes to another vehicle. An inspection revealed that this vehicle contained 21,900 packs of cigarettes of the brands ORIS and ZUMERRET, which did not have excise stamps.
At present, the necessary documents have been prepared regarding the incident, and procedural measures are being taken in accordance with the law.
The vehicle has been placed in a specialized parking lot until all circumstances of the case are clarified.
