In her statement, she explained that from October 2020 to February 2024, a citizen named U.T., having gained her trust, deceitfully obtained money from her under the pretext of purchasing an apartment in the residential complex "Nova City," located on M. Gorky Street. In total, he received $284,267, which he has not returned to this day, the report noted.
Based on these facts, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209, Part 4 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
On February 12, 2026, employees of the City Department of Internal Affairs detained citizen U.T., born in 1980, on suspicion of committing this crime.
The detainee was taken to the investigative authorities and placed in a temporary detention facility in Bishkek under Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Currently, law enforcement agencies are investigating his possible involvement in other similar crimes.
