During a special inspection, employees of the Main Directorate for Road Traffic Safety identified 37 drivers who had installed illegal fuel containers on their vehicles. These tanks were used to import gasoline from Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan for the purpose of subsequent illegal sale along the roads.
All seized vehicles were sent to a temporary impound lot, and their owners were fined 5,500 soms. The return of the vehicles is possible only after the complete dismantling of the illegally installed tanks.
