A citizen contacted law enforcement for assistance regarding the actions of a young man who claimed to be the son of one of the police leaders. He offered his services for 20,000 soms, promising to help recover funds, but ultimately turned out to be a fraudster.
This incident was registered under Article 209 ("Fraud") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The police detained the suspect, identified as I.U., born in 1997. During the investigation, it was revealed that neither of his parents has any connection to law enforcement. An electronic bracelet was applied to the young man.
