On January 22 of this year, a resident of the Panfilov District contacted the Internal Affairs Department of the Jayil District, where he reported that an employee of one of the lyceums in the city of Kara-Balta had deceived him. The man stated that the educator, allegedly for the purpose of entering data about the completion of training into an electronic database for obtaining a driver's license, requested 30,600 soms from him. However, the promise was not fulfilled, and the money was not returned.
A criminal case was initiated regarding this incident under Article 209, which pertains to fraud, according to the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The detained individual turned out to be I.R., a man born in 1966, who had previous convictions. He has been placed in a temporary detention facility.
