According to the police, the raid took place from February 17 to 19 in the Batken district. During the inspection, foreign citizens engaged in labor activities were informed about the rules of stay in Kyrgyzstan and the requirements of migration legislation. They were also handed relevant warnings.

The quota for labor migration in Kyrgyzstan has been increased to 52,000
The Ministry of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration reported the availability of 52,000 job openings for foreign labor migrants planned for 2026. Initially, 25,000 quotas were allocated for 2025, but later their number increased to 42,000.
Among the countries applying for labor quotas in Kyrgyzstan are China, India, Turkey, and Pakistan.
Since last year, the distribution of labor quotas has been transferred to the competence of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
