The investigation states that from 2022 to 2023, when Sydygaliev was in charge of the Center for State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance in Transport, he "organized a systematic collection of funds from subordinate employees for personal enrichment."
At the moment, the deputy minister has been placed in the temporary detention facility of the SCNS.
Investigative actions are ongoing, and other individuals who may be involved in criminal activities within the healthcare system are being identified.
- The SCNS emphasizes that the fight against corruption remains one of the main areas of the Committee's work. All participants in corruption schemes, regardless of their position and social status, will be held accountable in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
