The official has been placed in the temporary detention facility of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB).
According to the press service of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB), violations committed by the Deputy Minister of Health S.R.S. were identified during anti-corruption activities.
The investigation established that from 2022 to 2023, while holding the position of head of the State Center for Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance in Transport, Sydygaliev systematically demanded money from his subordinates for personal enrichment.
As a result of the investigative actions conducted within the framework of the initiated criminal case, Ryspek Sydygaliev was detained and placed in the temporary detention facility of the GKNB.
Investigative activities are ongoing, aimed at identifying other employees of the healthcare system who may have been involved in similar criminal activities.
