Entered with a knife and took 350 soms from a teenager. A robber was detained in Bishkek

In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, a suspect in a robbery has been detained. This information was provided by the press service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Lenin District.

The incident occurred on February 21 in the village of Kashka-Bash. Around 1:20 PM, an unknown man entered a store, threatening a minor saleswoman with a knife, and demanded money from the cash register.

He managed to take 350 soms and a mobile phone.

Criminal proceedings have been initiated regarding this incident under Article 207 "Robbery" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Law enforcement officers quickly identified the robber and detained him. He turned out to be a 30-year-old man, M.M. He has been placed in a temporary detention facility, and the investigation is currently ongoing.
