The General Prosecutor's Office confirmed the fact of the investigation
According to law enforcement agencies, more than 500 appeals from affected businessmen and public officials have been received regarding former employees of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB).
The Prosecutor General's Office noted that an investigation is currently underway against former employees of the special service; however, specific figures and details have not been disclosed.
"The information is not subject to disclosure until the investigative activities are completed," the supervisory authority emphasizes.
