On February 21, the Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek decided to place U.U.K., a former employee of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB), known by the nickname "Vaseline," in custody. This information was confirmed by the court's press service on February 27 for the editorial office of "AKIpress Summary."

He is suspected of corrupt actions under Article 336, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan. He is currently being held in the temporary detention facility of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Bishkek until April 15.

Earlier, a video appeared on social networks in Kyrgyzstan, which contained photographs of various individuals, including athletes, businessmen, GKNB employees, and police officers, whom the authors of the video associated with the so-called "40 choro," linked to the former head of the GKNB in Bishkek, Eldar Jakypbekov. Among the mentioned figures was also "Vaseline."

According to information from sources, before joining the national security agencies, he worked in the police.

Later, the GKNB press service commented on the situation, stating that there are no untouchables in government agencies. The department also reported the dismissal of several employees suspected of abusing their official powers.

Furthermore, the GKNB denied information about the existence of unofficial nicknames among its employees, emphasizing that such video materials are disseminated to create a false public opinion about the committee's work.
