At a press conference in Bishkek, the director of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports, Kazybek Moldazhiyev, announced that 336 million soms will be allocated from the state budget for the organization of the VI World Nomad Games.
The funds will be used to provide accommodation for the athletes coming to the competitions, as well as to cover the main organizational expenses.
In addition, a prize fund of 49.8 million soms is planned to be allocated.
Nursultan Adenov, head of the international secretariat of the World Nomad Games, emphasized that sponsors are actively being involved in the preparation of this event. Some are ready to provide financial assistance, while others will offer their products.
Sponsorship funds will be used to create kits for participants and to produce promotional videos dedicated to Kyrgyzstan and the games. These promotional videos are expected to start airing on international platforms three months before the competitions begin.
“In international practice, there are so-called welcome packages. We plan to prepare such kits for about three thousand participants, which will include information about Kyrgyzstan, nomadic culture, and commemorative souvenirs,” added Nursultan Adenov.
