In Bishkek, a presentation of the sports program for the VI World Nomad Games, scheduled for 2026 in Cholpon-Ata, took place.
The organizer of the Games is the State Agency for Youth Affairs, Physical Culture, and Sports.
The director of this agency, Kazybek Moldazhiyev, stated that "the opening ceremony of the World Nomad Games will take place on August 31 at the 'Bishkek Arena' stadium. The main part of the program will start on September 2. This year, competitions in 43 sports are planned, both traditional and national. Athletes from more than 100 countries are expected to participate, which will set a new record. In the first Nomad Games, only 19 countries participated, and now we are witnessing an expansion of their geography."
Additionally, special competitions titled "Great Kok-Boru Player" and "Great Kok-Boru Horse" will be held for the first time at the upcoming Games.
