More than 500 million soms will be spent on the organization of the Nomad Games. The Minister of Culture shared details about the preparation for the WIG.
The opening and closing ceremonies of the VI World Nomad Games are scheduled for September 1-6 in Bishkek, at the new "Bishkek-Arena" stadium. The President of Kyrgyzstan is directly overseeing the preparation process, and the working group is led by the President's Chief of Staff Kanaybek Tumanbaev. This was reported in an interview with AKIpress by the Minister of Culture Mirbek Mambetaliev.
“We hold meetings almost every two weeks, discussing all the details. The opening of the Nomad Games will coincide with the SCO summit and Kyrgyzstan's Independence Day, so special attention is being paid to this event,” noted the head of the Ministry of Culture.
According to Mambetaliev, the Ministry of Culture plans to allocate more than 500 million soms for the organization of the Nomad Games.
“Traditionally, the Nomad Games will take place at Issyk-Kul. An ethnovillage will be built, and equestrian competitions will be held at the racetrack. We also plan to involve the Center for Nomadic Civilization in the village of Ornok and the 'Rukh Ordo' complex,” added the minister.
