The opening ceremony of the events will take place on August 31 at the "Bishkek Arena" stadium, which will coincide with the anniversary summit of the SCO.
Athletes will move to Cholpon-Ata on September 1, and the competitions will begin on September 2 and conclude on September 6. The venues will include the racetrack, the Gazprom complex, the "Rukh Ordo" cultural center named after Ch. Aitmatov, and the Kyrchyn gorge.
Moldazhiyev specified that traditional sports such as kok-boru and kokpar will be represented at these games.
It is expected that more than 100 teams and over 3,000 athletes will participate in the competitions.
