- In Kyrgyzstan, nine-month courses for future air traffic controllers have been launched. This information was announced by the director of the State Agency for Civil Aviation, Daniyar Bostонов, during a radio broadcast.

According to Bostонов, young people aged 21 to 28 who have knowledge of the English language can apply for training.

“The training is conducted free of charge, and each student receives a monthly scholarship of about 70,000 soms. Graduates who successfully pass the exams will receive a guaranteed job placement. We have already graduated the second group of air traffic controllers. However, despite the attractive conditions, recruitment remains challenging due to high requirements, including medical checks and difficult simulator exams,” noted the agency head.

Additionally, Bostонов mentioned the establishment of a personnel reserve in the State Agency, as well as the fact that specialists undergo continuous training both domestically and with the involvement of foreign instructors. He added that improving working conditions, increasing salaries, and state support, including housing programs, contribute to retaining specialists in this field.
