The suspect is accused of organizing a stable criminal group consisting of both security service employees and civilians for the purpose of personal enrichment.
During the investigation, law enforcement agencies detained five individuals. The Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek has imposed a preventive measure in the form of arrest for them. The detainees are currently in the temporary detention facility of the capital's Main Internal Affairs Directorate and in SIZO-21, which is subordinate to the Ministry of Justice.
An internal investigation conducted by the GKNB's own security service has led to the imposition of strict disciplinary measures:
- six employees were dismissed from the national security agencies;
- six employees were suspended from their positions and assigned to the agency's disposal;
- one service candidate was removed from the list of applicants;
- eight employees received various disciplinary penalties.
Special services continue to search for other members of the corruption group. The investigation is under the control of supervisory authorities.
