The deputy head of the Internal Affairs Department of the Pervomaisky District and the head of the Criminal Investigation Department of this department were detained for receiving a bribe, as reported by the press service of the GKNB.
Experts from the service established that the mentioned officials, acting in collusion, initiated criminal proceedings against a citizen of Kyrgyzstan named "A.M.M.".
With subsequent intent, they, using an intermediary — the legal representative "K.A.T.", began to demand from the son of the victim "M.U.M." 30 thousand dollars for closing the criminal case.
As a result, "M.U.M." handed over to "K.A.T." part of the demanded amount — 20 thousand dollars, which were left at one of the exchange points in Bishkek for subsequent transfer to the detained officials.
After conducting confrontations and other investigative activities, the deputy head of the Internal Affairs Department "A.N.A." and the head of the Criminal Investigation Department "A.I.A." were detained and placed in the temporary detention facility of the GKNB.
