It is reported that the attack occurred on March 7. "Air and missile strikes were directed at the facility in Isfahan, resulting in serious damage," the official statement notes.
Currently, there is no information about possible radioactive contamination. The IAEA has also not commented on this issue.
In response to the attacks, Tehran stated its intention to take retaliatory measures if the U.S. and Israel do not cease their attacks on Iranian fuel infrastructure.
Earlier, there was also information about strikes on several oil storage facilities in Iran. The Red Crescent Society warned the population about possible acid rains caused by toxic substances released into the atmosphere after the explosions at the oil storage facilities.
