According to preliminary data, due to dubious intermediary schemes and unclear write-offs of raw materials, "Kyrgyzneftegaz" may have incurred losses exceeding 4 billion soms.
Reports indicate that an analysis of invoices and financial operations of the company for the period from 2021 to 2025 revealed three main schemes through which revenues from the sale of state oil could have been diverted to private companies. The investigation is also looking into possible connections between these firms and relatives and associates of the former head of the State National Security Committee, Kamchybek Tashiev.
