Turmush reported that the incident occurred on the night of March 24 to 25 at around 11:50 PM on J. Abdrakhmanov Street. The victims, 38-year-old S.M.S. and her 9-year-old daughter A.A.S., born in 2016, were struck by the driver of a Honda Fit.
Immediately after the incident, both victims were taken to the Issyk-Kul Regional Unified Hospital.
According to information from the hospital, the condition of 38-year-old S.M. is considered extremely serious. She underwent emergency surgery and is currently in intensive care. Doctors have given a preliminary diagnosis of a rupture of the right lobe of the liver, closed traumatic brain injury, and concussion. She also has multiple fractures of her right arm and leg.
The condition of 9-year-old A.A. is assessed as stable. She is receiving treatment in the traumatology department, where she was also diagnosed with a closed traumatic brain injury and concussion, as well as a fracture of her right leg.
Doctors and hospital administration continue to provide the necessary medical assistance to improve the condition of both patients.
Law enforcement agencies are continuing to investigate all the details of the incident.
