According to the agency, on March 27 at around 15:00, a 38-year-old driver, M.D., was driving a "Mercedes-Benz E420" on the Balykchy — Ananyevo — Karakol road heading east. At that moment, his opponent, a 44-year-old driver, M.U., in a "Volkswagen Passat," exited from the left side of the road while making a turn.
In an attempt to avoid a collision, M.D. maneuvered through a gap in the median barrier installed in the middle of the road and entered the oncoming lane, where he collided with a "Renault Samsung SM6" driven by 35-year-old Zh.K.
As a result of this accident, both drivers — M.D. and Zh.K. — died at the scene. The report also specifies that information about other victims and injured individuals is currently being gathered.
This incident has been registered with the Issyk-Kul District Department of Internal Affairs, where appropriate examinations have been appointed and investigative actions are being conducted.
