According to the case materials, driver M. A. in a "Subaru Outback" crossed into the oncoming lane, leading to a collision with a "Mercedes-Benz Sprinter." After that, the "Subaru" continued moving and crashed into another "Mercedes-Benz Sprinter."
The first "Mercedes" after the collision also crossed into the oncoming lane and collided with a "Toyota Camry," and then with a "Toyota Voxy."
As a result of this traffic accident, the following people died:
- Sh. T., born in 1992 — driver of the "Mercedes-Benz Sprinter";
- Zh. E., born in 1992 — passenger of the mentioned vehicle;
- Sh. E. T., born in 2015 — passenger;
- Sh. E. T., born in 2023 — passenger;
- Zh. D. K., born in 1958 — passenger of the "Mercedes-Benz Sprinter";
- S. B. A., born in 1999 — driver of the "Toyota Camry";
- N. A., born in 1996 — passenger of the "Toyota Camry".
The injured with various injuries included passengers of the "Toyota Camry": A. G. A., born in 1985, and T. K. R., born in 2016, as well as passenger of the "Mercedes-Benz Sprinter" T. A. N., born in 1994.
- By the decision of the Issyk-Ata District Court of the Chui Region, M. A. was found guilty under part 3 of article 312 "Violation of traffic safety rules and operation of motor vehicles, resulting in particularly serious harm through negligence" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. He received six years of imprisonment with a two-year ban on driving in a general regime correctional colony. However, he was given the opportunity for probation for three years with a similar restriction.
- The judicial panel for criminal cases and offenses of the Chui Regional Court changed the verdict, excluding probation but leaving the other parts in force.
