According to eyewitness accounts, on the road Karakol—Ananyevo—Balıkchy, between the villages of Toru-Ayghyr and Kosh-Kol, the driver lost control of the vehicle.
Initial data indicates that on January 21, 2026, at around 18:00, a resident of Bishkek, born in 1999, named Sh.A., was driving a "BMW 330" from east to west. At the 28th kilometer of the Balıkchy—Ananyevo—Karakol road, near the village of Toru-Ayghyr, he was unable to maintain control, causing the car to veer off the road and overturn, resulting in an accident.
Information about the incident has been entered into the electronic log of the Issyk-Kul Department of Internal Affairs, and the investigative authorities are currently conducting an inquiry.
As a result of this incident, one person died, and two others were injured.
