During the firefighting operation at the nursing home, Emergency Situations Officer Alymbek Keleshov displayed outstanding courage, risking his life to save others. During the evacuation process, he suffered from carbon monoxide poisoning and was sent to the hospital. This information was reported by official sources from the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Despite the heavy smoke and high temperatures in the building, Keleshov continued to carry patients outside. After the rescue operation was completed, he received the necessary medical assistance. Currently, Keleshov's health condition is assessed as satisfactory.
It is worth noting that the incident occurred on January 6 in the palliative care ward of this facility. As a result of the fire, two seriously ill patients died. According to the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, an additional 14 people were hospitalized.
In connection with the tragedy, a blood donation drive has been announced for the victims.
