The press service of the Lenin District Department of Internal Affairs sent a message to the residents of Bishkek regarding the search for 24-year-old Aimeirim Akisheva.

On January 6, Aimeirim's sister contacted the police for help in finding her sister. She reported that around 5:50 PM that day, Akisheva left to meet her boyfriend Bakyt Asakeev and went missing. When the information about this spread on social media, the couple got in touch and stated that they would only contact their relatives after canceling the reports to law enforcement agencies.

In response, the Lenin District Department of Internal Affairs organized active searches and soon determined the couple's whereabouts in the Naryn region. Asakeev apologized for the situation.
The press service emphasized that upon receiving reports of missing persons, the police promptly engage a significant number of resources to conduct search operations.

“When citizens leave their places of residence without notifying their relatives, it misleads their loved ones and serves as a basis for initiating searches. In such situations, police officers, service vehicles, and other resources are involved that could have been used for more priority tasks, such as ensuring public safety, maintaining law and order, and preventing offenses,” the Department of Internal Affairs noted.
