From January 8 to 9, 2026, employees of the Drug Control Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic conducted preventive raids in various night establishments and karaoke clubs located in major cities and district centers.
The main objectives of these activities are to prevent drug use, to prevent offenses and crimes, as well as to promote a healthy lifestyle among young people and to raise public awareness about the dangers of drugs.
During the raids, staff at entertainment venues were provided with recommendations on adhering to safety measures, enhancing control, and preventing the illegal drug trade. Additionally, they were reminded of the necessity to immediately report any identified offenses to law enforcement agencies.
