In Thailand, a boat collided with a fishing vessel: tourists from the Kyrgyz Republic were on board

As a result of a tragic incident in Thailand, a boat carrying Russian tourists collided with a fishing vessel, resulting in one person dead.
According to preliminary data, there were 33 citizens of Russia on the boat, as well as tourists from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and other countries. As a result of the accident, a Russian woman born in 2008 lost her life. More than 20 Russian citizens sustained injuries of varying severity and were taken to medical facilities in Phuket for necessary assistance, reported the Consul General of Russia in Thailand, Yegor Ivanov.
The incident occurred on January 11, when the speedboat Korawich Marine 888 collided with the fishing trawler Pichai Samut 1 near Koh Kai Island, causing 52 tourists and three crew members to end up in the water, as the impact destroyed the front part of the boat, leading to its sinking.
So far, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has not provided comments or confirmations regarding the injured citizens of Kyrgyzstan.
