Arsalan is competing in the under 79 kg category, which features 30 wrestlers from countries such as Kazakhstan, Cuba, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, and Russia.
Budazhapov began his competition in the 1/16 finals, where he won against Arslan Gadzhiev from Dagestan.
In the next match, he defeated Geannys Garzona Tamayo from Cuba and is now preparing for the quarterfinal bout against the Russian athlete Alihmaev Gadzhimurad.
