The opening ceremony gathered a large audience, including the Deputy Director of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports Ulan Kydyrbaev, representatives of the Wrestling Federation, coaches, and fans. This competition is of significant importance for preparing the reserve of the national team and developing youth sports in the country.
Athletes who place in the top three (1st–3rd) will receive medals and diplomas, as well as the chance to join the Kyrgyzstan national team for participation in international tournaments in 2026, including the Asian and World Championships, as well as qualifying competitions.
The goal of these competitions is to promote women's wrestling, improve the skill level among female athletes, and advocate for a healthy lifestyle.
On the first day of the tournament, competitions are held among girls in the weight categories: 40, 43, 46, 49, 53, 57, 61, 65, 69, and 73 kg. The final matches are scheduled for 17:00.
