In Khujand, Tajikistan, a ceremony was held to lay the first stone for the construction of a modern Football Academy complex. The event was attended by the chairman of the Sughd region, Rajabboy Ahmadzoda, and the mayor, Firdavs Sharifzoda.
The new sports center promises to become one of the most modern training bases in the country. It will include an administrative building, two full-sized and two small football fields, as well as an indoor training facility for year-round use. A swimming pool and a modern gym for athletes are also planned.
The design of the complex is being carried out by the company "Khushofar," while the responsibility for the project's implementation lies with the city’s capital construction management. The full funding for the facility is provided by the executive body of state power in Khujand.
The new academy will become an important platform for training young football players and will contribute to the development of professional sports in the Sughd region.
