Timur Shakirov took 62nd place at the Winter Olympics

At the Winter Olympics in Italy, Kyrgyz skier Timur Shakirov finished in 62nd place.

The giant slalom competition among alpine skiers took place on February 14, with 81 athletes participating.

In his first run, Shakirov recorded a time of 1 minute 29.52 seconds, which earned him 67th place, trailing the leader by 15.6 seconds.

In the second run, the Kyrgyz athlete improved his time to 1 minute 22.5 seconds, allowing him to finish in 63rd place, with a gap of 11.42 seconds from the first place.

After two runs, Shakirov completed the competition in 62nd position among 69 athletes who were able to reach the finish line.
