The football club "Andijan" from Uzbekistan is under threat of sanctions from FIFA due to a financial dispute with its former head coach.
According to sources, Russian coach Alexander Khomyakov, who left the club, did not receive part of his salary and compensation for the termination of his contract. Meanwhile, "Andijan" signed a new contract with another specialist without fulfilling its legal obligations to Khomyakov.
As a result, the coach turned to FIFA, which demanded that the club pay the debt. If "Andijan" fails to meet this requirement, it may face a ban on registering new players.
Despite the potential sanctions, the team continues to lead confidently in the Uzbekistan championship and remains one of the main contenders for the title this season.
