The football club "Toktogul," preparing for the new season in the Kyrgyzstan Higher League, has announced the signing of Mirbek Akhmataliyev, a former midfielder of the national team. This move is part of the team's strategy to strengthen its roster.

Akhmataliyev, who previously played for clubs such as "Alga," "Dordoi," "Abdysh-Ata," "Muras United," "Alaï," and "Kaganat," as well as having experience playing in Georgia and Malaysia, was suspended for 5 years in August 2024 due to an incident that occurred during training at "Muras United."

However, on February 10, the Executive Committee of the Kyrgyz Football Union decided to lift this punishment, allowing the player to return to the field.

In the new season, "Toktogul" will debut in the Higher League for the first time, and in addition to Akhmataliyev, the team has already signed several new players, among whom stands out the defender of the Georgian national team, Solomon Kverkvelia.
