"Arsenal" extends contract with Bukayo Saka until 2030

The London "Arsenal" is pleased to announce the extension of Bukayo Saka's contract, which will now see him play for the club until the summer of 2031. The new five-year contract was made possible by mutual agreement before the expiration of the previous deal.

According to British sources, the 24-year-old winger has become the highest-paid player in the team, with his new salary exceeding £300,000 per week. This decision to extend the contract was made ahead of schedule, indicating the club's serious intentions.

In an interview with the club's website, Saka shared his ambitions:

“I feel immense joy. This moment is significant for me and my family. My goal is to win trophies and leave my mark in the club's history.”

Notably, just before the press release, the player creatively confirmed the deal by celebrating a goal in the match against "Wolverhampton" with a signing gesture. The match ended in a draw (2:2), and for Saka, the goal was an important event, ending his 15-match goal drought.

Arsenal's head coach Mikel Arteta has recently been using Saka in an attacking midfield role due to a shortage of players in the center of the field. The commitment to nurturing their own talent confirms the club's strategic approach to building a competitive team for the coming years.
