Football championships in Argentina suspended due to financial fraud scandal

According to the organization's statement, no matches will be held from March 5 to 8. The reason for this is the accusations from ARCA regarding AFA's tax evasion.

AFA, in turn, claims that it has fulfilled all its obligations and settled the debt, which was stated in court. However, ARCA states that it currently cannot collect this debt.

It is worth noting that since March 2017, the Argentine Football Association has been headed by 58-year-old Claudio Tapia. He has previously been accused of failing to pay social contributions amounting to about 13 million dollars.
