At the ranking wrestling tournament held in Albania, Kyrgyz athlete Gulnura Tashtanbekova managed to win a bronze medal, according to information from United World Wrestling (UWW).
In the under 65-kilogram category, Gulnura reached the quarter-finals, where she faced Russian athlete Alina Kasabieva. Despite the loss, Kasabieva advanced to the finals, giving the Kyrgyz athlete a chance to compete for bronze.
In the decisive match for third place, Gulnura achieved victory over the Indian athlete, finishing the bout with a score of 4:3.
It is worth noting that on the third day of the tournament, Meerim Jumanaazarova also performed successfully, winning a silver medal in her category.
