More than 200 athletes from six countries have gathered in Bishkek for the international tournament Bigser Cup, which is taking place at the "Gazprom - Children" Sports Complex. This is already the seventh event of its kind in the country, but for the first time it has received a license from the International Gymnastics Federation.

According to the president of the Bishkek Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation, Evgenia Bykovskaya, the FIG organization closely monitors the conduct of tournaments, including the evaluation of the organizers and the process itself. "We are holding our seventh international tournament, and after analyzing our results and judging, the federation has given us the opportunity to hold competitions under its patronage," she noted.

FIG tournaments have a high status and gather the best gymnasts from different countries. Our tournament features athletes who will participate in the upcoming Asian Championship, also taking place in Bishkek," Bykovskaya added.

The tournament features gymnasts from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Armenia, Kuwait, and Kyrgyzstan. The program includes individual performances and group exercises. The final competitions are scheduled for March 8, where the winners will be determined.

The goal of the tournament is to promote and develop rhythmic gymnastics in Kyrgyzstan, confirm qualification standards, identify the strongest athletes, and strengthen international sports ties.
