At the Naiza Jekpe-Jek tournament held in Kazakhstan, a conflict erupted between Kazakh fighter Arli Aliyev and Kyrgyzstan's Maxim Pavlov, as reported by Sports.kz.

Pavlov won against Aliyev by delivering a finishing blow on the ground, which forced the referee to stop the fight and declare a technical knockout in favor of the Kyrgyz fighter.

However, the Kazakh fighter did not accept this decision and, approaching his opponent who was already celebrating his victory, suggested continuing the fight. As a result, the referee intervened to calm Aliyev down. After that, both fighters exchanged handshakes and hugs, which helped resolve the conflict that had arisen.

“An amazing comeback and a scuffle after the fight! The altercation between Maxim Pavlov and Arli Aliyev turned out to be very tense. Although Aliyev controlled the fight, Pavlov managed to change the course of events with one precise strike,” noted Naiza FC.

The NAIZA Jekpe-Jek tournament represents a unique format of MMA organized by the Kazakh league NAIZA, aimed at discovering new talents from Central Asia. Participants fight for the opportunity to sign a contract with the main league and get a chance to compete in major tournaments.
