In the weight category up to 65 kg in freestyle wrestling, our compatriot Nursadik Nurdinov will compete.
His opponent will be the Russian athlete Arip Abdulaev, who is a medalist of the Yarygin tournament.
At just 19 years old, Nursadik has already become the Asian champion among youth (U-17) in 2024 and has secured a prize-winning position at an international tournament in Egypt in 2025.
In addition to Nurdin, other wrestlers such as Akjol Mahmudov, Abdumalik Karachov, Ömürbek Asan uulu, and Sezim Jumanaazarova will also compete in the tournament in Tashkent.
Although a match was planned between Aiperi Medet kyzy and Olympic champion Yuka Kagami from Japan, this bout was canceled due to the injury of the Japanese athlete.
